Each month Newcomers invites a guest speaker to join the morning coffee meeting, typically held the first Thursday of the month from 9:30-11:30 a.m. at a member's home. Programs focus on a variety of topics, from health and hobbies to Wyoming history.
COMING UP...
Topic: Tis the season to be thankful for our good fortunes as well as be thoughtful and giving to those in need.Barbara Campbell, Director of Valley Interfaith Food and Clothing Shelter, will be at our December coffee to talk to us about the Valley Interfaith organization, its mission, and how it touches the lives of individuals and families in our area throughout the year. Shawn Gilligan-Jones, who volunteers at Valley Interfaith, will be collecting the gifts that our members have generously donated.
December is also our annual cookie exchange (optional). If you would like to take home a variety of delicious cookies at the end of the coffee, bring three dozen cookies in a container. Our hospitality committee will divide them all up for you!
